Unable to boot from Mountain Lion HD

Initial problem:
unable to boot from Mountain Lion HD and access Mountain Lion Set Up (Step 4.4)

I got as far as the 4th part of Step 4 (“At the Chimera Boot Screen, choose your new Mountain Lion installation”) but when I tried to boot it just infinitely loaded.

Workaround Failure:
unable to boot from Unibeast Flash Drive (Step 3.4) when I tried again from the start.

In case it has any bearing on the problem, I have listed all of my hardware.

MB: GA-Z77-D3H
CPU: Intel Core 3570
RAM: G.Skill Ares 16GB 1600mhz
PSU: 725Watt Extreme 2 CoolerMaster
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Disc Drive: 22x DVD RW

USB flash drive (Patriot ,USB 3, 8Gb

To install I followed all instructions from here:
UniBeast Install OS X Mountain (TonyMac: August 14th, 2012 10:59 AM)
http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibeast-install-os-x-mountain-lion-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

I used a MacBook Pro running OS 10.7.5 to format USB
and a Patriot, USB 3, 8Gb USB stick

Step 1. Purchased the OS X Mountain Lion Application from Mac App Store
Step 2. Prepared UniBeast USB flash drive (Patriot ,USB 3, 8Gb)
2. 1 – 2.17 No problems.
Excluded step 2.14 (I’m using an LGA 1155 socket) and 2.15 My Hackintosh is not a laptop)
1st problem solved (“No entry sign).

Step 3. Install OS X Mountain Lion
Set BIOS to Optimized Defaults, and hard drive to AHCI mode.

Small problem at step 3.2.
Press the hotkey to choose boot device. Was using a Mac keyboard. I changed to PC keyboard and pressed F12 (as I have a Gigabyte motherboard). Problem solved.

No problems with Step 3.3 to Step 3.7

While doing step 3.8, the screen went black as though it had gone to sleep, so I pressed enter a few times to wake it up.
I saw a flash of what looked like a Mac style screen, as though I might have accidently clicked or activated something when I clicked enter. Then it went black, then it went to the Gigabyte Splash Screen.

Step 4.1, 4.2, 4.3
No Problems. Turned on Computer, Pressed F12, Chose USB-HDD.

Step 4.4
Chose Mountain Lion HD. Began loading and continued loading for hours without completing. No Luck.
Retried steps 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 again several times.

Then twice retried setting up from Step 1.1.
These two times I could not even get past Step 3.4.
Instead the computer just loaded for hours unsuccessfully.

Then I tried again to boot from the Mountain Lion HD to access Mountain Lion Set Up but it still loads forever.

I hope someone can help me sort this out.

2 terrabyte drive means check boot 0 error article.
Also Hard drive must be named Mountain Lion during install.

what do you mean check boot error 0
