Unable to boot after successful install - ASUS Prime Z270-a i5-7600K

So I got my GTX 750 ScTi working with this thread (I had problem 6):

Also, I got ethernet working and I just need to fix the audio. Please let me know if you find anything

Hello, smomin14, I just build a hackintosh a few days ago and I have the same Asus z270 Prime-AR like you. I used VoodooHDA.kext. It worked fine with me. wish it also works on your platform.

For the intel 630 hd graphics, I tried the method of post #1:

and added 0x19160000 as ig-platform-id, the hdmi port worked.

Awesome, yea I got VoodooHDA to work on my PC as well and its working fine. My build is finished for now. Thanks again for checking up on this!

Hi Smomin and Jaakweep,
I have the same board and it hangs at the clover boot.

Would you please share your config.plist and mobo config?
  • I have the M.2=Win10 OS and want to place the MacOS on sata on Port SSD#2
  • I have a 980 card but plan on installing with the hdmi on board first.
  • 2x16gb ddr4 2133

Many Thanks jaakweep !! I had tremendous success with the USB showing up and installing the files.
I haven't done a complete install since my Win10 on EVO 960 M.2 seems to be hijacking both Clover USB and EVO 850 OS X Install. I'm considering removing the M.2 and might even have to reinstall Win10.
Note: I had taken out my 980 card. OSX EVO 850 is on SSD Port #2.
