If I load into Mojave using my iGPU, some of the animations lag (not too noticeable), but when I render audio in Ableton it becomes very weak and the audio will crackle sometimes. A good way to notice this is to set the sample rate to 192khz and run it, it becomes unbearable to hear (static and glitches) and the CPU usage fluctuates heavily.
However, if I load into Mojave using my GTX 660, the audio renders perfectly clear no matter what the sample rate is and the animations/graphics never lag. The biggest problem I face is that my monitor only has HDMI and DP, but my GPU being so old can't (as far as I know) run 4k @ 60hz through HDMI.
With this is mind, I tried to load into Mojave with my GTX 660 and kept the Framebuffer patches for UHD 630. This works and I'm allowed to use both my GPU and my iGPU ports, however...if I wish to do it this way, I'm unable to see the program as it becomes drawn with static. I think this is possibly due to having to use -disablegfxfirmware in order to bypass the iGPU spam.
Is there possibly a way to fix this so that there is no static and I'm able to use the both GPUs properly?
