If you installed Widows in IDE mode, then you need to enable AHCI support in Windows, then reboot to BIOS and change it to AHCI mode.

I just checked. My Z77 Mobo default is AHCI so my windows 8 is installed with AHCI. Thanks a lot bro. How about my build with an AMD Radeon Graphics? Do think it is compatible?
