I have GA-Z77-DS3H and looks like everything is running ok, except external HDD is not properly ejected after wake from sleep.

I thought it didn't do that, but it started to doing that for whatever the reason and I can't remember what I did to my boot flag.

Anyway, I was wondering are you supposed to boot with EFI: HDD that you have man installed or boot off regular port?

When I try to boot off EFI, I get restart and insert boot media.....

Thanks in advance.

Same here

Same question here - since I updated to UEFI bios the only way to boot OS X is when P0 or P1 is selected in boot options.

1. Would there be any advantage of using UEFI boot instead?

2. If so, how to make Mountain Lion bootable? Do I need to reinstall it after selecting UEFI boot instead P0 P1 etc...

Anyone with some experience with this?

Thanks!

From my experience with this board, booting only works using P0, P1, etc. I have not managed to use boot UEFI successfully.
