type of the kernel after installation using tonymac method

I'd like to know if after final installation using tonymac method if the kernel is still Vanilla ?
or the kernel has been patched ?

After installation and 10.6.2/3 update, you'll get a vanilla kernel...
Though, depending on your hardware, there will be some "alien" kexts.

The only install option that uses a patched kernel is "EasyBeast for Unsupported CPU" or if you manually choose to install a patched kernel. Any other method still uses the kernel that Apple installs.
