Two OS X Versions on 1 drive ?? Two /Extra Folders ???

So I'm thinkin' about installing 10.9.2 and 10.8.5 (For a more stable DAW use) on the same SSD.

So .. I have two partitions on the same 120GB SSD
1 Mvx
2 MTL
From what I remember I should install Chimera on the first partitions (being Mvx)
however I don't know to which /Extra folder will Chimera refer to when loading ..??

I'm not even sure I'll have to use different contents of /Extra folder to each OS
(Will I ?? Should they be the same for both OSs ?? )

I'd appreciate your advice ...
