Trouble getting GEFORCE 9800 GT 512 MB to work on 10.6.5

My GA-P55-USB3 build Zotac ZT-98GEY3M-FSL GeForce 9800 GT 1GB Card has DVI, VGA, and HDMI outputs. DVI<DVI does not work to my Samsung T260HD Monitor/TV, which also has DVI, VGA, and HDMI inputs. VGA<VGA works, but I don't want VGA. If I connect a HDMI<DVI cable from the HDMI output of the video card to the DVI input of the monitor, it works well and that is how I have left it.

They switched some things around in the OS in 10.6.3 I believe it was. Maybe it was 10.6.2.
