—I guess I should update. I've been having extremely bad luck with Trinity as of late. First I lost my backup drive when I tried to expand my Storage partition, then my SSD started to malfunction. It began to freeze with the read/write light staying lit for hours. Eventually I'd be forced to power down and reboot, only my BIOS wouldn't even recognize the drive! I'd unplug everything for an hour, then try to boot but it was a mixed bag. I re-installed Lion quite a few times, and it would work for a bit, then the freezing would start again. Usually when using Chrome. Finally it just refused to let me format it, or perform a data wipe. I RMAed through OCZ it but I'm really let down. They have a bad reputation, and here I thought this newer drive with Indilinx drivers would be different. As I said before "buy cheap buy twice". I wish I never got the idea into my mind to purchase an SSD, or just sucked it up and spent the money on a Corsair or Samsung SSD. 7200rpm HDDs are just fine, and far more reliable.
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced data recovery service? I carefully packed away my backup drive with the hope that one day I could recover it.
