Maybe I made the mistake of installing both that ATI 10.6.6 thing and the 10.6.7 Notebook thing from Multibeast. In any case, I tried to make my computer work properly with my ATI HD 5500 card, and now it won't boot. I know: inconceivable. Anyway, I tried booting with -x, too, but it still wouldn't work. So I booted verbose and took a picture.

I have a Gigabyte H55M-S2H, with an ATI HD 5500 series card. I'm running OSX 10.6.6 with Chameleon RC5 r748, Kabyl's build. I really don't know how to fix this. I need help.

I have a similar configuration (H55, ATi 5670) and had no problem.

The only odd thing I find on your setup is that you didn't upgrade to 10.6.7 before putting the card kexts in.

Boot with iBoot, upgrade to 10.6.7 and put the ATi kexts (or use multibeast 3.4)

(I also clone the disk every time I made an upgrade)

I finally got fed up and reinstalled the OS clean. But I gotta ask, when I get in a fix like this, how do I fix it? Assuming I haven't got a backup, although I will from now on.
