Transferring PC from HDD to Hackintosh SSD

Hi,

would it be big project to clone Windows 10 from different HDD to Mac SSD? My whole SSD is now a Mac APFS partition, and had a bad experience already partitioning it as in it all went to crap.

Even if you manage to shrink APFS partition (by connecting your drive to another OS X or using installation stick) Windows may not start if moved to a different device.
I had successful experience with starting Windows from partition with different number (=index in the GPT), but with same partition and filesystem IDs. And on the same device it was installed to.
The scenario to try actually depends on how large your Windows volume is. The best is when you can shrink your APFS volume so that entire Windows could fit into unused space.

Isnt it possible to shrink APFS disk within working OSX? My plan was to transfer whole windows volume. Or fresh install.

EDIT: It is possible but only with Terminal, I used this command.

sudo diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk2s2 350g FAT32 WINDOWS 0b

Which partitioned my SSD to 350Gb and rest of the space allocated to new partition.

For fun, I will tell later how Windows installation went.
