Trackpad, Tap and Drag Doesn't Work

I have a dell inspiron 15 3542, which I have successfully installed MacOS Sierra on, however my trackpad settings are blank when I open them on the system preferences. I am used to being able to tap and drag on windows; on MacOS, when I place two fingers on my trackpad it locks. I am using Rehabman's VoodooPS2Controller kext. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
