So, I was able to do a clean SL install on my Lenovo W510 using iBoot.
I have almost everything going but have a question about the trackpad.
After the initial install of SL (10.6.3) the trackpad was working fine.
It was detected by the system as a trackpad and I could scroll, click etc.
I applied the 10.6.8 update and east version of multibeast and after that neither the KB or the trackpad worked.
I attached an external USB KB and mouse, those worked and I installed the PS2 fix from multibeast.
After restart, the KB and trackpad work again but now the trackpad is not detected by the system and scrolling does not work.
I have tried the VooDooPS2 fixes and the VooDooTrackpad fixes as well and those don't seem to work either.
So I'm thinking I just need to roll back to the kexts from 10.6.3 and things should be fine.
The problem is, I don't know which ones those are.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
I have this LT 95% working right now and just need a few more tweaks.
Thanks.
