I'm about to order "TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900".
Just wondering if it's compatible with High Sierra out of the box ?

Yes. That's why it's listed in the tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide (Accessories section).

If you're referring to the P-LINK TL-WDN4800 PCIe card, it is strictly a WiFi card - no BT. So, you'll need a BT4 USB dongle like the GMYLE BT4 USB dongle.

BTW, what's the speed rating on your router. If it's greater than AC1300, then consider getting on of the AC1750 or AC1900 WiFi cards. I have both the TP-Link Archer T8E AC1750 and T9E AC1900 cards (again no embedded BT). They work OOB, too. Again See the Buyer's Guide Accessory section.

Many on this board are reporting the same issue I'm experiencing: this card "works" OOB but drops the network completely at random intervals--but especially after sleep--and requires either a wifi on/off cycle or more commonly a reboot to get it to reconnect. I'm poring over search results to try to find a solid solution to this but can't find one. If you are aware of a solid path to making this card stable, I'd appreciate a kick in the right direction. Much thanks!

that workaround fix the problem in my case :
uncheck "Wake for Network Access" in the Energy Saver preferences
