If this thing is real and will be sold to the public, it would run OS X great- and think about the tiny casemods! :geek: :ugeek:  :headbang:

Wow, Just wow, I can imagine what kind of Hackintoshes could people make with those. You know, just a small box on the table. :)

Imagine a Mac Mini, with a smaller box. Or more like an Apple TV?

According to slashdot:

an Intel employee has said that the price will 'not be in the hundreds and thousands range.' A price point around $100 would be reasonable, and would make the NUC an ideal HTPC or learning/educational PC. The NUC is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2012."

Here's something else that's exactly that size:

i am completely lost whats this for someone that is looking at it thinking its some type of memory stick ????????????

WOW! that is amazing! Idk if this is just me but I dont see the i5 anywhere? Unless it is embedded and I just missed it or something. Anyways I wonder what the clock speed and TDP for a SFF pc like that would be. For 100 I will definetely be buying one. Perfect for HTPC.

But it doesnt have an optical drive....derrrrrp

They are a thing of the past. The mac mini's don't have it anymore either. And if needed you can always get an external. Sad thing is it would be bigger than the computer itself
