So here I'am after couple of days tweaking with a lot of help from all those great people around here. issue posted here.

Anyone who could help me on the right add-on to get Thunderbolt working at the USB-C for a UAD Apollo Twin

Should I go for the
GC-Alpine Ridge?
or
ASUS ThunderboltEX

And what will work?

Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI rev 1.0
Internal I/O Connectors
1 x Thunderbolt™ add-in card connector

The Alpine ridge is made by Gigibyte same as your board. The Asus only has one thunderbolt port not two. @Jamesbond007 suggests the Titan Ridge that card and the Alpine are very similar however the Titan does DisplayPort 1.4. You also might consider replacing your mother board:

This board people having good experiences with and even hot plug.

yeah :( what a big fail.. I followed the buyers guide. and thought that Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI would be able to run Thunderbolt since I saw that USB-C was working, and I just could use the Apple USB-C to Thunderbolt adapter.. but spoiler... docent work :/ :banghead:
