Thunderbolt will not work after restart

I am using yosemite and can not get thunderbolt to work after restart. I had it working last year and then my system crashed. Now it refuses to work for me. I have read several previous forums and tried pretty much all of them if i was able to follow but they seem to be all over the place and they seem to not have an actual fix.

Please someone let me know if you have found a fix!
