Thunderbolt Issues / Focusrite Clarett / Startech Adapter

Hi guys,

i finally managed to get my new build working but there´s still one Issue remaining. I need to use my Focusrite Clarett 8Prex via Thunderbolt and tried a lot of things, but it just won´t work.

Do you guys have any ideas what i can try?

Drivers are installed in Windows (I have 2 hard drives - Windows and OSX)

Unfortunately lots of TB stuff doesn't work on my Z170X-UD5-TH. It's hit and miss. For me, the Lynx Aurora 8 with LT-TB card (attached via a Startech adapter) is the only device I tested that works reliably. In Windows and OSX.
This may improve with newer versions of OSX, but that's crystal ball gazing.
Carefully do all the steps to update the firmware & driver(there's one step that's easy to overlook), and remember that your TB gear should be attached to your rig before booting. Also check your BIOS settings, BTW.
I see there's no Windows driver for the Clarett. That's what makes the Aurora ideal for testing, Windows and OSX drivers (and mixer software)
