hello, i have the same error:

This version of Mac OS X is not supported on this platform!
Reason: Mac-DB15BD556843C820
(https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17808142/boot.jpg)

I used Unibeast to creat the USB Installer, (x) UEFI and no extra grafic installer
(http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/u...emite-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.143976/)

In Bios i did:

  1. Load Optimized Defaults
  2. VT-d, disable it
  3. (If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it) coud not find something like this
  4. Secure Boot Mode, disable it
  5. Set OS Type to Other OS
  6. Save and exit.
I tried several bootflags: -v -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=1, maxmem=4096, and npci=0x2000, NV_disable=1

But everytime i hit enter on "boot osx from usb" i get the message

Intel Core i7 6700K 4x 4.00GHz
Asus TUF Sabertooth Mark 1 Intel Z170
256GB Samsung 850 PRO 2.5"
12288MB EVGA GeForce GTX Titan X

And you always will - Only El Capitan - OS X 10.11, currently 10.11.5 - supports your hardware. Suggest you try instilling it instead of Yosemite.

I've been having this issue over the last couple of days. Found out that it was an incorrect board ID set in config.plist for MacPro 3,1. Somehow the board ID was set for a MacPro 2,1...

Changing it to the correct board ID that matches the mac model number made it instantly bootable.

How did you edit the plist? I tried to boot into single user mode and it would just shut the computer down.

Update: I edited the .plist by booting up from my CCC backup, mounted the EFI and changed my sys. def. in Clover Config.

Where can I get the table of board IDs and their matching Mac model numbers? Thanks!
