Hi,
I did upgrade my hackintosh to Mojave and configured WhateverGreen, to patch the framebuffer, but I still get "Failed to initialize graphics firmware"

kexts in Clovers kext folder(10.14, misc, Othe):
IntelBacklight.kext
ACPIBatteryManager.kext
Lilu.kext
WhateverGreen.kext
FakeSMC.kext

Anyone has an idea, what I am doing wrong?

IntelBacklight.kext is not used anymore

check the laptop guide for updated config.plist for mojave:

I did now cleanup my kexts, leaving me with only the Other folder containing:
ACPIBatteryManager.kext
FakeSMC.kext
Lilu.kext
WhateverGreen.kext

and switched to Rehabs clover config for HD530 Laptops

also I did cleanup the /Library/Extensions/ , and updated the kexts to their latest verisons.

Then I booted with the "-f" flag and injected fake platform id set, and ran "kextcache -i /", which gave me "Untrusted kexts are not allowed", despite having csr disabled in Clover, as well as via "csrutil disable" in recovery mode, it looks like the "f" argument forces csr...

When I now boot up without fake platform id I still get stuck at gIOScreenLockState 3

clover folder is a bit messy, shouldn't have random kexts and backup files there, it is not a "dumping ground"

no need for ACPIBatteryManager.kext to be in clover/kexts/other

all your 3rd party kexts should be installed to /Library/Extensions you have some in /System/Library/Extensions

Boot using -disablegfxfirmware.
