I recently installed El Capitan on my Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 (I7 4770). Everything worked well. I just copied my EFI folder from the usb media over to the EFI partition on my hard drive. I am trying to do a fresh install of High Sierra on the same machine, just with a ssd. I have followed the exact same setup as before, but this time the machine will not boot without the usb installer. I have tried to use multibeast and install clover in both UEFI and Legacy with no luck. I even tried to copy the EFI from my working install and that did not work either. I have attached the messages that roll at boot.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

I took care of the profile information.

Is it possible this is an apfs issue?

Solved. It was an issue with APFS. I cloned my High Sierra hard drive to a drive formatted as HFS and BOOM it booted.
