I'm getting a lot of these -50 errors on a drive hanging off my hackintosh. At first, I thought my drive was toast but when I connect it to my imac it works just fine.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Is the "drive hanging off my hackintosh" hanging around it's neck? Sorry, couldn't resist a smirky comment.

Is the drive attached via USB? Do you have any other USB drives that ARE working? What steps have you already already tried? I've not run into that error 50 myself.
