Hi everybody!

I hope, @Leesureone, you remember me. I had a sleeping issue, and still, the awake flow doesn't work properly.

But I'm pretty sure my issue relates to framebuffers. I use a 4K monitor. A few releases of whatevergreen/lilu ago my build started awaking (instead of error or black screen) but I need to press the power button on the monitor manually. After that, I see the green background picture for a few seconds, and then the system jumps to the login screen. The issues are still reproducing:
  1. Resolution/scaling is reset. All content looks very small.
  2. I get the feeling that it turns on 30GHz. All animations/switching/cursor movements are lagging.
I was playing enough with "hackintool" enough to patch the framebuffer.
I set the following configuration (other combinations change nothing or turn the awake process to the black screen):
Screenshot 2020-11-15 at 18.58.17.png
Screenshot 2020-11-15 at 18.58.20.png
By that configuration, I still need to press the physical power button on my monitor manually, but "green background-color" disappears faster. The resolution/scaling/refresh rate becomes the normal mode. But the text, pictures become as if you are watching the video in 240/380p quality. I see all the pixels and the text looks like it was blurred.
Do you have an idea how to fix it?

The separate questions.
  1. Will the attached Clover/OC configurations be updated in the original post to support BigSur?
  2. I found the info, I need to add 'Quirks' to update the Clover and update Cataline to BigSur from the AppStore updating center. But I can't find step by step instruction on how to update that quirks section in clover config. I tried to Update clover to 5126 without any preparations, but the system started stuck on the Apple logo while booting. But I can't find step by step instruction on how to update that quirks.
  3. Otherwise, it looks like OC is an easier way for Hackintosh now, but how to migrate my Clover configuration to OC and replace the EFI folder in the corresponding partition?
Thanks in advance!

Yep I updated OC to 6.3 first. Here My EFI. Wifi is still not working.
I follow instruction given here for big sure -> https://github.com/acidanthera/AirportBrcmFixup
You have to block (or remove) AirPortBrcm4360_Injector.kext in BigSur
So I removed this injector but it change nothing. I also try to remove the whole fixup kext, same.
Ok fixed.
Actually it is not obvious but now you have to declared AirPortBrcmNIC_Injector.kext

so I just had to add in the config.plist this
<dict>
<key>BundlePath</key>
<string>AirportBrcmFixup.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortBrcmNIC_Injector.kext</string>
<key>Enabled</key>
<true/>
<key>PlistPath</key>
<string>Contents/Info.plist</string>
</dict>

And wifi now fully working :)

I doubt the original EFI folders here will be updated, @ModMike has been absent from these forums for quite awhile. I can't give you an easy answer how to migrate but in this thread there is a guide how to update Clover. Personally I would bite the bullet and dig into OpenCore. I'm attaching another users EFI folder that is a start in that direction, needs updating to 6.3 I believe.

I want to confirm that
The EFI above with added injector works perfectly with Big Sur 11.0.1 (I upgraded directly from catalina 10.15.7 and merge config.plist with my old one)

Hello everybody.

Tried the update to Big Sur using the attached EFI folder...

No cigar for me: the installer boots but neither my bluetooth mouse nor my usb wired keyboard is working, so I can't even start the install process

Well, it actually looks like I am booting to the recovery screen where I can't even select the option to "Install Big Sur on this Mac"

Weird, I'll try again tomorrow.

In the meantime if someone has the same experience and got around the problem, please share

Just re-read the guide and probably misunderstood some parts of it...

Do I still have to update my currently working Catalina setup using Opencore 0.5.7 to 0.6.3 first or can I just use @trankilou 's attached folder while presuming that it already contains the update to 0.6.3 ?

If the update is needed, can I just copy the opencore files from @trankilou 's EFI over to my Catalina EFI in order to upgrade ?

It's very weird your USB wired keyboard even doesn't show up. Maybe try other USB port (prefer USB2 port) but with the USB "all" kext every ports should work.

The recovery screen and the install screen are clearly not the same process. Did you try to upgrade from the software update pref panes in Catalina?

Be careful. After the first reboot, my screen was froze for 20 min with no progress bar at all. So you have to be (very) patient.

Hi everyone!
Can someone share the iGPU 'EFI' folder updated to the latest OC and installed BigSur after successfully? It would be nice if sharer has the 9th generation intel proc. I want to try it boot from USB.
Thanks in advance.
