Pins A9 and A10 on right hand side the PCI-e card as shown on your second pic are usually 3.3v - what's interesting about your card is they don't seem to be bridged - those pins are normally bridged. Does the Wi-Fi card work ok?

Yes the wifi works just fine :) I was thinking that I may could use the 8pin connecter you can see on the first picture (click it to enlarge it).
Do you have any suggestions for where I can try to solder the 3.3v to?

I realise this thread might be dead.. but I haven't contributed to the site yet..

I got a BCM92046MD card on ebay from someone selling bits from a 24" iMac.

Wired it to the USB standard plug on the board.. and used a Red LED as a voltage drop device. It is a little too much but the bluetooth still works great.

Red LED have average voltage drop of between 1.7v-2v at around 20ma.. It is easy to wire in line with the 5v from USB.. the stronger the LED glows the more current the board is drawing and the greater the LED voltage drop will be so it is very safe.

It measures from 3.0-3.1v across the board.. with a cheap 3mm LED.
