The bless toll was unable to set current boot disk

At 17 minutes remaining a message pop up said : mac OS could not be installed on your computer " The bless tool was unable to set current boot disk" I tried several time but was not able to pass that point. tried toss around with different drivers and no luck.
I realize that I need some help. Thanks.
