I'm trying to monitor my CPU temps...
Installed both iStat Menus (+ the Intel sensors), and Temperature Monitor...
Tried also smcfancontrol, but it crashes immediately (I guess it doesn't like fakesmc...)
However, I'm getting different readings
Ambient: 27C
Idle:
istat reads: 33,33,31,31
TempMonitor: 31,29,35,31
Prime95 Torture: (Pinning the CPU at about 796%)
istat reads: 60,60,57,57 (after 3min) => 57,56,53,53 (after 5min) => 60,60,58,58 (after 30min)
TempMonitor: 59,56,53,56 (after 3min) => 58,55,53,56 (after 5min) => 59,57,58,58 (after 30min)
Stopped after 33min...
Less than 1min later the readings were (I guess the Mugen-2 does his job very well... ):
istat reads: 36,36,33,33
TempMonitor: 35,35,35,58
It seems that iStat is more accurate... Is this right ?
What are you using for monitoring ?
