PSU: SeaSonic 760W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Already Owned
Case: Powermac G5 case
The Build Begins
Delivery
Unfortunately the parts were delivered in three separate batches, so inevitably the last took hours to show up. Anyway, here's what arrived:
First delivery, bringing the Monitor, SSDs, WiFi, CPU Cooler and RAM
Second delivery - Motherboard, and Processor
While I was waiting for the third and final delivery, I got the CPU and RAM installed
FINALLY!! Third delivery - PSU and GFX Card
Hacking away
After hacksawing away for a while, I decided to take the case to my Uncle who is a professional Metalsmith. By using the right tools it would be quicker and cleaner.
Also as I will have to cut a gap in the top shelf, which is much thicker, for the PSU fan, I thought it prudent to use more appropriate tools.
