I have El Capitan installed to a USB using UEFI boot (not the legacy option)

This is the verbose boot output

Code:
OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi
Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
                                                                                        _

The system waits a few seconds then reboots.
I'm booting on an Asus q301la laptop w/o secure boot

Not a desktop. Moved to laptop support.
