Hey guys,

I updated my system to 10.7.5 and noticed after a while that my system was a bit slower than normal. So today I decided to really see what was going on, and in fact a geek bench test reveals that I'm performing at less than half speed from March of this year! I'm down to 6K, from a 14K score in March.

Otherwise the system seems to work great, no hangs, all peripherals work. Hyperthreading IS on, all cores working like they should. I've repaired permissions.

Anything else I should try? Thanks in advance.

I was able to find my system backup drive which I have not used in a few months, and in fact, when I boot off it and run Geek Bench I return to my previous score. That system was running 10.7.3.

Any clues?
