Hi,
Something happened to my system, it has been working perfectly till today. Yesterday I shut it down and today it hands on shuch line:

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::pushCPU_CSTData - _CST evaluation failed

I have no clue what's going on, the same shows on -x.

Anyone could give me any hints how to solve it. I've have a project to finish on tomorrow and can't do nothing...

Thanks in advance

Can you boot with iBoot? Ignore cache also?

Android, did you ever figure this problem out? I have the same one

I ramdomly got stuck in
ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin:: SMC driver not found
Always i use -v -f to boot when i get that, and always works for me.It's wierd because not always happens.Good luck

Hmm, I tried that, but I still get the error:

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::pushCPU_CSTData - _CST evaluation failed :(

My system is being slowed by this error, it sits on
7/10/11 9:24:52 PM kernel ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::pushCPU_CSTData - _CST evaluation failedNVClockX: NVClock Darwin port by alphamerik (C) 2010
7/10/11 9:24:52 PM kernel ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::pushCPU_CSTData - _CST evaluation failed
7/10/11 9:24:52 PM kernel ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::registerLPCDriver - WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized

and then after 48 seconds (eternity--for an SSD) hits this and moves on.
/edit: DOH! Public Math. 56 sec.

7/10/11 9:25:48 PM kernel SNB Framebuffer did not show up, unload

Can anyone smart suggest a reason for this? Unsure why NVClock is showing up, since I didn't load any NV stuff with MB. I'm using a user-DSDT (Thanks, tony) on 10.6.8 .

Josh

PS: so after some poking around, this looks like a power management DSDT thing. I guess this might imply that the DSDT either needs work, or I've borked the kext selection. Any takers?

same problem here....

I have a p7h55-m/usb3, i5 750, geforce 6800.....
