Yes...i have done it.!!

Very good set up of maverick on this superb server mobo,only with GraphicsEnabler=yes for install and for boot after installation;
At the moment only audio isn't recognized,but i think that its not too much tricky.
Now,if i put another cpu i have to reinstall?

This is the configuration?

Supermicro X7-dal/e
single xeon e5420 quadcore
4gb ecc ram
1 tera 7200 rpm
Nvidia 8500gt

first problem....the dvd is not recognized.
each time i repair permission;restart and it is recognized
at the second restart it disappear.
Maybe i have to change at a drivers

If someone is intersted in,dvd still have problems to be recognized,sometimes it appear and sometime not;
Updated to 10.9.5 via apple combo update,audio enabled with voodoo hd audio.
Any suggestion for the dvd?

Make and model DVD?
Try replacing the SATA cable and double check the power connector is secure (at both ends if using full modular)
