Not sure if this is the right section but here goes.

OK. I have a Hackintosh running 100% (Works out of the box too!)

When I built it in April last year it was for windows gaming. I never knew about Hackintoshing.

My Secs are: GTX 680, 3 Hard Drives including one ssd (this is the mental problem) and 16GBRAM.

Problem: I'm a hardcore Gamer and Love OS X and Windows at the same time.
Problem 2 : I can't STICK TO ONE OS. If i'm booted into OS X I feel like i'm missing out on gaming. If i'm booted into windows I feel like I'm missing out on OS X's beauty and features.

Yesterday I wiped out Windows 7 on my main ssd determined to make OS X my main machine. OS X installed and worked OOTB 101% only to be wiped out and re installed with windows by ME.

I really can't decide. Has anyone had this mental dillema? Every time I see OS X be it an image or a youtube video I feel like booting into OS X on my machine. Every time I see a game I feel like booting into windows.

Argh anyone felt this way?

Personally..

When working with files, text etc. I prefer Windows 7. Its so easy, and quick.
It took me more time to create and save a file in OSX. Windows is definitely a better OS for most features. And OSX looks nice..

I use OSX for fun things, but when becoming serious, I use Windows 7 because ease of use.. (Another example viewing photos, in folders, (it saves last time preferences.. osx doesnt.

Another example maybe most important for a bit advanced user; you cant use OSX for networking.. There is a huge bug in Finder.. For example;

you make a file on computer 1 (OSX), and change the filename on Computer 1, you dont see this change on Computer 2 (OSX).
(NFS, SAMBA, .. )

It makes OSX for me a bit amateur OS, but has also nice features, so im also a bit in middle of it sometimes. :)

Interesting!

I'm currently FORCING myself on OS X 10.8.3 for this week.

I played around with final cut pro x. I hated it.

Now I LOVE it. I make 20 minute World Of Warcraft private server review videos so i'll be doing this one in FCPX. It's radically different from Camtasia on windows but works so much better (although I still need more experience).

So far I love the apps. Hopefully I can love the OS. I've been brainwashed from people saying that "OS X IS A TOY" "OS X IS FOR NOOBS" REAL WORK IS DONE ON PC" "HARDWARE SUX ON OS X"

So i've been hearing that for a year straight^ Hopefully I can cleanse my mind during this week.
