Hello all,

I was finally able to successfully install Yosemite, thanks to all of your help (Yay!) although I am still trying to solve the GTX 970 problem (sad). My Primary problem today is that I cannot get the drive to boot on it's own. I always have to boot from the UNIBeast USB and enter the boot flags. Whenever I try to select the drive (by pressing F8 for boot options) the computer just sends me back to the BIOS. I ran multibeast after the install and everything seemed clean.

My system:

ASUS Rampage V Extreme
Intel Core i7 5930k
2x GTX 970 SLI'ed
32GB Corsair LPX DDR4 @ 2666
Patriot 480 GB SSD

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

did you installed chimera from multibeast?

i think you choose the efi partition from the SSD.
Chimera is NOT in the EFI its a normal bootloader. try this

maybe you forgot it ;)

stick the USB stick with unibeast (or your installer) in your usb port and boot the SSD from this bootloader.

then install chimera again

edit: and in my bios/uefi i can config whhich one is shown in the menu legacy or uefi or booth

successful? ;)
