My High Sierra USB installer does not recognize my 960 EVO. i was able to clone my High Sierra install to the EVO only if the drive was formatted HFS. Has anyone had success installing High Sierra/APFS on an NVMe in a PCI-e slot?

thank you pete1959! redoing my config.plist (all of a five second pastiche) resulted in a successfully cloned (bootable) install on an apfs formatted nvme. ye-ha!

wait, how did you do that?

With a 960 evo too?

yep. i think my initial issues was an out dated clover. i went back to using my original plist (from sierra), and with a recent iteration of clover, no issues. odd thing: i recently did a Sierra (10.12.6) install, and even it recognized my evo

So there is no need for using rehabmans guide?

i don't have the hack kext 'installed' atm

Wow! So I wait until the official release of high Sierra and try my take on the 960 evo apfs.
If this is working out of the box then I'll be so happy.
