Hello,
After a long time of not finding any solution to Sleep problem on macoS Sierra (10.12.6), with my motherboard – ASUS P7P55 LX – I have finally managed to solve it without any third party tools, any extra files, etc.

The solution can be found in motherboard manual, on pages 19 and 33.

1. Put BIOS power option to S3 only.
2. Switch USB Jumper UBSUSBPW9-14 on 5VSB position. That is the hardware position matching BIOS power setting : S3 only.

Enjoy your new working Sleep function.

I attached two images for clarity.

thank you very much.my computer is sleeping now.

By the way, which audio driver are you using .my MacOS could not turn down or turn up.when I switch, the sound is not changing.
Thank you again.

My hardware:p7p55lx -intel x3440 -gtx645

The audio is the hardest part to get it working. That's my experience anyway.

After MUCH struggle, I managed to get it working.

8.1. Go to this link.

8.2. I think I tried VoodooHDA__all_output__input__w_o_pink_rear__grey_rear_.kext.zip

After download, I opened package contents and modified the line
XML:
<string>0x3a3e8086</string>
with
XML:
<string>0x3b568086</string>
which is the ID for Asus P7P55 LX motherboard.

The sound volume bar is half-ass working, but I can at least mute the sound with it.

If you find a better solution, please post it here.
Thanks.
