Status
Not open for further replies.
It now has Thunderbolt 3 support
Gigabyte Tian Ridge v2.0 card with firmware flashed by me

thanks to some help from CaseySJ
he has a long thread on it.
Hello sir! I want your EFI my Titan Ridge not work.

You need to do more than have my EFI for full Thunderbolt support

Because that thread is so long and easy to get lost in
I asked what was needed,
Custom Firmware flashed to the Titan Ridge and a SSDT that you create via a website and MaciASL
You can flash the chip in macOS details in the guide I posted above
DO NOT have Titan Ridge in system while flashing the firmware

Once you do the flash and add SSDT to your boot loader it should show up in System Information
I having to flash a chip is not new to me

Major changes coming to my build by end of next week I hope
Waiting on Parts to arrive

First upgrade done

Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700XT

Did you notice any difference with RX 580?

Upgraded System Drive to 2TB
Both the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700XT
Are PCIe 4.0 yes they work in PCIe 3.0
When I get the other 3 parts I will start a new thread

@foster I don’t think the Aorus pro has PCIe 4.0, so the memory and video cards are actually running PCIe 3, the boards speed. I think I just looked at the right spec sheet. I want to be wrong, I have the same board and cards.

I know they are running at 3.0
a minor typo

I mean when I typed 4.0 in one sentence It should be 3.0
