Odd, can’t find CFG lock in BIOS on my H370M D3H GSM. Where did you find that?.
Oops!, Z370 not H370.

Hi,

Here you have my Opencore EFI folder. You will have to provide correct values for MLB , ROM, SystemSerialNumber and SystemUUID in config.plist. Also you will have to solve (the same as if you were using clover) the USB port map issue. I suggest you to use ProperTree to edit the plist file

My bios is version F13 (last bios available for this board), with default values, but these values changed. CSM Support -> Disabled, Initial Display Output ->IGFX, Vt-d -> disabled, Internal Graphics -> disabled, DVMT pre-allocated -> 96M, DVMT Total GFX Mem -> MAX.

Also, my bios has MSR 0x02 unlocked, follow one of the several tutorial available on the net. In my opencore efi folder there is a grub option to make it easy, basically you should boot it and run "setup_var3 0x5A4 0x00" (0x5A4 with this board and F13 bios) or, if you don't want to do this you will probably have to set to true this options in opencore config.plist "AppleCpuPmCfgLock, AppleXcpmCfgLock"

I hope you find this useful. Regards
hi there。
is it your complete efi files? I saw some ssdts in your config file but not in the acpi directory.

I also have OC EFI posted in a couple of my threads for Coffee Lake CPU and motherboards
Also the OC Guides post link to a sanity checker
note my OC EFI is 0.5.8 compiled on my system

Of course!

It’s a personal preference , but I think Opencore is way better with new hardware. I would use clover now only with legacy hardware. I find OpenCore much cleaner and light, and like a real Mac experience.

My build is also working 100%, maybe 101% ( native boot volume selection, wich I doubt you have it working with clover)

Regards!
So I actually moved also to OC which is much better.
The setup of OC is real damn easy and requires few drivers and kexts.
Everything is working smooth.

Sorry, just read your post today.... Did you found the DFG lock?

Regards!
