This was my first build.

I decided to build this system after months of poor performance with a Windows machine and terrible ASIO drivers. When picking out parts, I wanted something that could handle multiple instances of Serum, Massive, and other virtual instruments/ effects in Ableton. After looking at the offerings from Apple at my price range and requirements, I decided to build my own.

I decided to get the best setup that would offer several years of use before upgrading and therefore picked the 8700k. After deciding I wanted a system with a smaller footprint, I decided upon the Fractal Design Nano S as it still afforded me the ability to expand in the future.

I am running integrated graphics currently, but plan to drop in a graphics card once Navi launches (hopefully.)

What Works
USB 3.0, WIFI, BT, Graphics, Shut Down, Restart

What Doesn't Work
Sleep, iMessage, Handoff, Airdrop, Front I/O Audio

Installation Notes
When originally installing the system, I followed the Unibeast macOS High Sierra guide along with the bios settings from @EagleEyzz .

Post installation, I was getting weird graphical glitches from the UHD 630 graphics and could not get rid of for the life of me. After asking around, I decided to just reformat the drive and start over. After a fresh install, the graphics worked fine and has been running great for the past 5 months.
