[Success] GTX980 intermittently not detected under Sierra

The only way to get it working consistently through reboots is removing the iMac.kext - which disables Shiki for me.

...or oddly enough by re-installing any version of Clover. This will fix it for the next boot only.

Nope. This is still broken with the latest version of Clover 3899 and Shiki 1.9.0 with the iMac.kext.

Now working. Repeated the instructions in the iTunes Protected Video Black Screen Solution (HDCP) post and then the instructions to amend the iMac.kext in Post number 223

Somehow it's still only in SD. VDADecoderChecker still gives me errors...

But at least the iMac.kext works now without disabling the Nvidia driver.

It looks like that this is problem only with Skylake/Kabylake and Intel HD 530/630 using together with NVIDIA GTX cards.

Weird thing is I removed Shiki and iMac kexts and today I tested iTunes HD trailers and they play fine in all the latest macOs updates...

An error was returned by the decoder layer. This may happen for example because of bitstream/data errors during a decode operation. This error may also be returned from VDADecoderCreate when hardware decoder resources are available on the system but currently in use by another process.

Perhaps full movies don't play but I don't have any in my account...
