Step 1:
Get a genuine copy of Mac OSX Lion Mountain

Step 2:
Doing an USB drive
USB Installation Disk

Step 3:
Put the bios default with latest updates via Asus.com / support (original unmodified)

Step 4:
Start the installation via USB support, without external graphics card connected. Connect all your other devices. (Combo wifi card etc ...)


Step 5:
Restart the USB Disk and select your install osx in safe mode. (-x)


Step 6:
Install the drivers, bootloader, and the necessary kext via MultiBeast. (see pics)
restart


* Step X: * optional
Reboot, install your external graphics card (depending on it)


Step 7:
Configure your osx as you like, all should be functional, nothing more is needed.

Hello gtpc,

I followed your settings in multibeast for the Maximus V Formula, however i cant see the top of the picture, to see what else you selected. Like Easybeast or DSDT, and the bottom half either. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to share the entire picture.

Reason im asking is, I have the same Motherboard and i can boot with the Unibeast usb stick in, but without it i cannot,
