All,

I have the following settings in the BIOS:

I loaded Optimized defaults and disabled VT-d (didn't see anything else in the BIOS to disable).

Following are the exact system specs:

Gigabyte Z97X-UD7-TH
Intel Core i7 4790k
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 1600
Using integrated graphics
Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB SSD
Integrated graphics via DVI
(all 4 DIMMS were inserted upon installing Yosemite)

Used Multibeast + Easybeast and the following additions:

Network driver was AppleIntelE1000e v3.1.0
Audio driver ALC1150 + Optional HDAEnabler Audio ID 1

To get the sound, you need to change the settings to do audio out to "Internal Speakers"

When the computer goes to sleep and wakes up no audio, easily solved using LoadHDA (sorry missing link, I think it was found on GitHub). Some of the original Mac sounds don't happen, like taking a screenshot using Command + Shift + 4 or alerts

EDIT: Haven't tried thunderbolt yet

Thank you, all for your contributions
