Everything went smooth. Not a single problem till now. No need of lilu or whatevergreen kext, or any other Kexts except what suggested in the guide. Dp audio working by default. hevc files were not playing in fcpx in mojave, working fine now in catalina.

I have a similar build to yours, and I can update from Mojave ok, but then my bluetooth stops working (you can see the devices connect to it, but they do not work) have been trying to find a way to fix it, but I suppose I need some kexts to be updated to support Catalina. I am using an external Broadcom BT dongle, after the internal Intel one stopped working. I will simply have to wait I suppose before trying again I suppose.

I am also using small external dongle(forgot exact brand name), it’s working fine. And I didn’t update from mojave, I installed fresh to different ssd. Maybe check with that once. In Mojave I needed other kexts for dp audio to work and extra steps to export from fcpx. In catalina I needed nothing to do, only that fakesmc, Ethernet kexts were needed.
