[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Z590 VISION D + 11700K + RX 6600 XT

You need to know some things first before you really want to start:
  • Read carefully your MB user manual - hardware part
  • Set your SATA controller to AHCI SATA mode, macOS does not support RAID
  • Disable resizable BAR if you don't know how to configure this in OC
  • Before you start the installation configure your USB ports correctly. Feel free to use my configuration, but keep in mind to use SMBIOS MacPro7,1, because the kext is configured for this SMBIOS only
  • Start with -v boot flag to see what's happening and post kernel panic if any occures
  • Read the first post and configure all the BIOS settings according to the guide
I think i already use your usbmap kext with MacPro7,1 SMBIOS .
I need to check when i go home for sure.
About SATA and resizable bar..i never changed anything like this but i have to check also
Is there any possibility my usb disconnect by itself during installation at the same spot every time i try??
By the way error that mentioned on OCC is about missing key ResizeUsePciRblo..Is it the same thing??

I attach my bios settings and EFI I'm using..I can’t even find where is the option to resize BAR into bios settings..In which category may i find it? SATA configuration seems to be ok.
Also there are a lot of options i can't see in my bios.
1.Disable/enable serial port
2.Enable/disable UEFI boot (I enable cam support but if is disabled UEFI boot mode is by default)
3.Enable/disable Reziable BAR
4.Enable CPU Gear Mode 2
and in TMP2.O UEFI Spec version which choice i have to make?? TCG_2 or TCG_1_2? Does it matter??

Ok i found that i have to enable - Above 4G Decoding and Resize BAR appears..but it is disabled as well..
Also i saw in your first post on bios configuration that you say you Enabled Windows 8/10 UEFI boot.Where i can find this option?? Do you mean Windows 10 features on boot settings??
Do you you think i have to place my NVME drive to the bottom slot (third one) ..because now i have put it to the middle slot.(As you see at the boot settings in my bios,my nvme does not appear and i don't know if this affects to the installation.)

Update with your Ventura-EFI to Ventura 13.3 without any problems. Everything seems to work.
Still on Opencore 0.8.8.

@loopatic

Above 4G Decoding must be turned on, but the GPU Resizable Bar option can be turned off for now. All other settings seems to be correct.

BIOS F8 is out on Apr 26th 2023. it improves Thunderbolt compatibility issues. Do you think if this may fix Thunderbolt hot plug issue?

macOS 13.4 with OC 0.9.2, no TB SSDT and BIOS F8 -> no TB hot plug. Tested with Apple TB2 Ethernet device via TB3 to TB2 adapter. It's visible on cold boot only.

Has somebody already installed 13.5? Are there any problems with latest EFI?
