EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT:

Sound (NOW WORKS ALC889)
iMessage (wheel continues to turn)​

This was not effortless, this time. The TRIM Enabler issue required a drive wipe and re-install. USB 3.0 works WITHOUT the setting in MB, and the Kext-Dev-Mode seems to be critical to the whole thing.

But it works!

we have the same motherboard, but I cant seem to get my audio working even with ALC889

Same problem here although I had it working previously. I cannot grok what the catch is. Did you end up getting it working? What worked for you?
