Hi all

After reading through alot in the forums and lots of testing I finally made my Rig Stabel and working.

What I did was this

Unibeast - Install onto USB ( with USB fix for 1155 Sock ) Else you get bugged icons and no Crash on USB stuff plugged in while booting.
After creating the USB stick

Whent through the BIOS settings for http://www.tonymacx86.com/99-quick-guide-configuring-uefi-gigabyte-s-7-series-lga-1155-boards.html
Followed it pretty much by the book, but disabled the Audio part and The extra SATA controller. ( since I dont use it)
Set the Boot start the onboard fyrst ( 64 MB ) and Max Memory. Had HDMI on ATI and HD4000 ( Diplayport was buggy on ATI so I did not use it )

After that I boot the usb stick and installed.

Then Booted again with USB stick , and pointed to the ML partition.
Ran MultiBeat 5.0.2
With these settings and These only!
USERDST = X
Driver-Disk-Trim Enabler = X
Driver-Misc-FakeSMC-Plugin-Motherboar = X
Driver-Misc-FakeSMC-Plugin-AMD = X
Driver-Misc-FakeSMC-Plugin-HWMon = X
Driver-Misc-Network-Maokj's = X
Customization - System Def - Mac mini = X
Customization - SSDT Option - Sandy Brige Core i5 = X

Ran and Dont Reeboot.

Patched the AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.Kext acording to http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/53925-qe-ci-hd3000-series-7-mainboards.html ( just download the Zip in post #3 and use a kext installer.

Patched The ATI5000Controller.kext Kext Acording to http://www.insanely-mac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=262223&st=40 (to get rid of Ghost Display VGA ) ( download the ATI5000Controller.kext.zip might need to login http://www.insanely-mac.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=112214 )

Replaced the smbios.plist under Extra with mine and also the org.chameleon.Boot.plist and SSDT.aml
Remember to do this last since else MultiBeast will give you the defaults and that won't work for you. So if you run it again copy these back to your Extra Folder.
I included all the files needed. Attached.

I tried the Via Onboard audio with Voodoo, however its crashed and was no fun. So I just used my SBlive-24 USB and it worked well.

Bottom 4 ( USB 3.0 ) ports dont work. ( since they are on a Via Chipset )
Top 4 USB and Front USB work fine. ( have not tried 3.0 dev though. )

Hope this helps someone.

Please post questions on the thread not PM.

I got the sound working on this board in Mountain Lion using the following kexts (and instructions):
http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=3041

(I've written in the comments what additional steps I needed to make in my own particular setup).

It sounds great (only needed 2 ch out, haven't tested the surround outputs).

Thought you might find this handy while it's fresh.

Hmm ok ...

today I put the Maschine to sleep, and it did not recover back after a key stroke mouseclick or anything just when into a boot loop ,I believe it ruined the main bios and whent to recover from the backup and then reset the CMOS settings :S

Has anyone had this happen ? Am I missing something that prevents this ?

10.8.1 worked without any mods, however
10.8.2 I ran the Comboupdate, then before reboot did all I posted in the first post.
However I just get the spinning apple logo on the intel hd3000 screen

Did this and all worked fine.

Disabled the HD 3000

Boot in to safe mode (-x), your system should boot this way if you're having this crash
Open Terminal, and type "sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext/Contents/PlugIns/OemSMBIOS.kext /Users/youraccountname/" (replacing youraccountname with the appropriate account name )
Still in Terminal, type "sudo diskutil repairpermissions /" followed by "sudo kextcache -system-caches" (or repair permissions and update kext caches in any other way you prefer)
Reboot.

Re enable HD 3000

And all works
