In the beginning I wasn't planning to build a Hackintosh, just a system with a good balance between budget and gaming.

The graphics card was the cheapest GTX 750 Ti card I could find on a German retailer store. Sadly I couldn't find this card on any American and/or British online store, so I included a German amazon link for reference purposes.

I have chosen this Thermalright CPU cooler, because I heard many good things about it, like that it is very quiet. The only problem I had with that cooler is, that it is very big and was blocking the access to the CPU power plugs. Also when closing the case, the heat pipes from the cooler are scratching against the case sidepanel.

Overall the system has good performance and cost me about 800€ (if you don't count in the price I paid for Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.7 Lion for getting Yosemite).

Some Quick words to the installation:
When booting into the installation I used the following bootflags:
Code:
-v nv_disable=1 ncpi=0x2000
I'm not quite sure, if you need this ncpi thing, but on another build description it said, that it worked better with it.

Until the Nvidea webdrivers were installed and active, I used the following bootflag:
Code:
nv_disable=1
When not using this bootflag, it got stuck while booting up.

Also I already tried Clover and there for bootup I needed to enter the following bootflag
(even though the nvidea web drivers were installed :confused:) :
Code:
nvda_drv=1

EDIT:
10/03/2015 | I added a few words about the installation and needed bootflags.
10/07/2015 | I replaced one of the 500GB Seagate Barracudas with a 2TB WD Purple because it began making weird noises.

Did you only those boot flags? I mean: Dart=1 nv_disable=1. These are the ones I have as default when in Clover, and, if I boot with just those and nothing else changed in options, I just get to a black screen....

Sorry for the (obviously) late answer. As you might have seen, this Build was posted and last updated, when Yosemite was still the latest macOS. Thus, some details may be outdated. I never actually had any black screen issues on my system, whether I used the bootflags or not.
