But I will do a clean install with OC 0.6.3
Had to use gibMacOs, the download would not work.

This ended in an error...

UpgradeToMacOSBigSur01.png

Download via gibMacOS & launch InstallAssistant.pkg
UpgradeToMacOSBigSur04.png

In the /Applications folder you can then find the installator, launch it to see if it works and then you can quit it. (Or continue if you have a good backup and OC 0.6.3)

Making installation media via command line :
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/myVolume

Upgrade to OC 0.6.3 and to BigMacOSX° succeeded, but installing https://openzfsonosx.org/ was an utter failure  => going back with restore from CCC
Conclusion:
Catalina is here to stay for a while…
But I had fun :)

Success! At last!
Steps
  1. Full backup of my Catalina System with CCC
  2. Boot in backup
Export all of my zfs partitions
Uninstall all of zfs, with the scripts provided in:
    /Volumes/OpenZFS\ on\ OS\ X\ 1.9.4/Docs\ \&\ Scripts/
    1608728807767.png

    In that order : uninstall-openzfsonosx.sh, uninstall-make-install.sh & uninstall-complete.sh
Just to be sure (was like blasting a bazooka at a mouse, but…)
  3. Installed Big Sur and did a 'Migration Assistant" with my backup disk, without the zfs kernel extensions
  4. Downloaded https://openzfsonosx.org/forum/download/file.php?id=215&sid=bb455208805ce22b6d6b0653e9c5e31d
    1608729145265.png

You will have to authorize the use of those kernel extensions in System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General
    1609420607083.png
  5. [Optional]
Change your scripts where you invoke the zpool command
Reason, the location of the executable is changed
    1608729582489.png

    The former location was "/usr/local/bin/zpool"
The one in Big Sur is "/usr/local/zfs/bin/zpool"
Hope this is of some help for one of you.
