Clean install using unibeast, installed the DSDT from the database, and the kexts for audio, usb3, and network.

Everything is working great, apart from the DVD drive.

It is a pioneer drive that worked great under lion, but Mountain Lion just does not seem to recognise it.

It knows something is there, just does not seem to be able to figure out what, keeps coming up unknown in system profiler

Any suggestions ?

Have you solved this problem yet on your own?

I'm here searching because my old Airport Extreme card (put into a mini-pci-e adapter) that works under Lion so far isn't recognized under Mountain Lion.

Hi!!

Sorry for this question, becouse it don´t response your problem.

What kext do you use to the USB3?

I can´t make do it work.

Thank you very much!!!

I can't find a audio kext for the H61M-D2H-USB3 (ALC889) , the Multibeast kext doesn't work.
I install Lion 10.7.4.

I 'm having the same problem in Mountain Lion 10.8.2 . My realtek ALC889 ( from my Gigabyte H61M D2H USB3 ) isn't detected.
And my USB keyboard and mouse are working too slowly ( 20 min to start the OS)[But the other USB devices run well].
And lately Multibeast is throwing me errors while it's "validating proceses"("or checking") , i can't use that.

My setup :

- Gigabyte H61M D2H USB3
- Intel i5 3470
- 2x Kingston HyperX 2GB RAM
- ATI Radeon HD 4650
-I haven't any apple keyboard or mouse.

I'd tried with and without the graphic card.
I'd tried another versions of multibeast.

Please help, i'm not expert at this.
Sorry for bad english. ( I'm spanish )

Audio works with Voodo (the latest)
:> *happy*
