This guide is an iteration of this one for Monterey/Ventura
It might help also others to enable the Wifi (Sonoma wifi not working) and Bluetooth (Sonoma bluetooth not working) as this is hard to find what is needed for Sonoma as of today.
working:
- iGPU HD620 full accelleration
- audio with microphone
- camera
- wifi
- bluetooth
- airplay to mac
- screen mirroring from iphone/ipad
- handoff+continutity
- imessages
- HDMI Out (only full HD resolution no 4k)
- 3 USB ports (1x 2.0 2x3.0)
- touchpad with gestures
- brightness keys (with karabiner)
- volume keys (native)
- sleep/wake
not working/not tested:
- HDMI Audio (not sure, not interested in testing it)
- the charging USB port (works as usb3 only)
- filevault/encrypted disk boot
- card reader (should work oob)
config is for OC 0.9.5
You need a Sonoma compatible SMBIOS - MacbookPro 15,2
ACPI
Generate the SSDT-USBX.aml using Hackintool and copy the .aml file to ACPI folder on the EFI partition
KEXTS
You need these kexts in this versions or newer
and in this order
Block this kext and use these kernel quirks
BOOT FLAGS
Your boot flags might wary as these are based on my Broadcom Wifi Card / Sonoma Broadcom BCM43602
You can do the basic installation without these kexts
and with csr-active-config 00000000
After that you need to download and enable those kexts and download OCLP
You need the OCLP to enable the WIFI. With the kexts you will see the wifi adapter but you will not see any networks / wifi networks empty
After you run OCLP and do the Post-install root patch the Wifi will start to work.
Attached is the config - do not forget to change your model serial number in the Platforminfo section
