Guide to install Yosemite 10.10.2 using Unibeast 5.1
*My Hardware Setup*
mobo: Asus Maximus VII Hero <-- in bios I have AC'97 Audio enabled
cpu: Intel i7 4770k
gpu: PNY GTX 750 Ti <-- using HDMI cable to TV/Monitor
ram: 16gb (2 x 8gb-ddr3)
hd: Western Digital 750gb 7,200rpm Sata II
case: CM590 Centurion
1. Create the Unibeast + 10.10.2 USB following this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
2. Download:
-MultiBeast 7.1.1: http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads
-MultiBeast 6.5.0: http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads
-Nvidia Web Driver(343.02.02): http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/81365/en-us
Add/Drag all of them inside the USB after creating the Unibeast + 10.10.2 USB process
3. Restart your computer(setup bios/system according to Unibeast guide), boot with usb
boot arguments: -v nv_disable=1 maxmem=4096
Follow the normal installing steps...
Now finally the fun part begins...
4. go in the bios boot, select the USB, but afterwards on the Chimera Screen choose the Hard Drive you installed to
boot arguments: -v nv_disable=1
*be patient it will enter*
Hopefully you get in, fill in your info and once you reach the Desktop continue...
5. Drag from USB to Desktop: MultiBeast 7.1.1, MultiBeast 6.5.0 and Nvidia Web Driver
Run: MultiBeast 7.1.1
Quick Start > DSDT Free
Customize > Boot Options > 1080p Display Mode
*optional* - if you use a PS/2 Mouse or keyboard: Drivers > Misc > PS/2 Keyboard/Mice and Trackpads
Build > Install
Restart Computer
5-a. Try this time booting from your hard drive without the UniBeast USB(unplug it)
-if it loads Chimera then good, continue Step #6 - boot with: nv_disable=1
-if it gives you boot0 = error or something like that follow this: http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/65706-boot0-error-official-guide.html
6. Now if all went well starting from hard drive alone(no longer need Unibeast USB)
boot arguments: nv_disable=1
When on Desktop...
Run: Nvidia Web Driver
Restart
boot argument: -v (just to see if it all goes well), if stuck then try: nv_disable=1
Upon Desktop, click in the top menu the Nvidia Icon > Enable "Nvidia Web Driver"
Restart
You should boot(no boot arguments) with full graphics
-Repair Disk permissions here on Disk Utility, Restart afterwards
7. Time for Audio(internal mobo, green line in speakers) and Ethernet
*AUDIO TO WORK, MUST BE INSTALLED FIRST BEFORE ETHERNET*
---Audio
Run: MultiBeast 6.5.0
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > "ALC1150" and "Intel 9 Series Motherboard Support"
Build > Install
Restart
Hopefully you plug in on the rear or front panel green line in a speaker and it will work after checking "System Preferences > Sounds > Output > Internal Speaker"
---Ethernet
Run: MultiBeast 7.1.1
Drivers > Network > Intel > AppleIntelE1000e v3.0.4.1a
Build > Install
Restart
FINALLY AFTER ALL THAT, ITS DONE!!!
